First Ever Mosque in 129 KMs (Wagga Wagga)
Your donation plays a vital role in completing and sustaining the first mosque in Wagga Wagga, a project led by the Muslim Association of Riverina Wagga Wagga (MARWA).
For many years, Muslims in Wagga Wagga and across a wide regional area have prayed in rented halls and temporary spaces. This mosque will provide a permanent place of worship and serve families within a large radius of regional NSW.
Alhamdulillah, the land has been purchased and construction is underway. Through community effort and generous supporters, significant funds have already been raised. However, we still need support to complete the mosque and make it fully functional.
This mosque will be more than just a building. It will serve as:
A place for the five daily prayers and Jumu’ah
A centre for Islamic education for children and youth
A space for community gatherings and family programs
A source of spiritual guidance and support
A place where unity, belonging, and identity are strengthened
As Wagga Wagga continues to grow, Muslim families need a stable religious environment so they do not feel compelled to leave in search of basic religious facilities. This mosque will help keep families rooted, connected, and supported.
